Director, Central Potato Research Institute, Shimla, invites application from the Indian
Citizen to fill the posts of Technicians, Stenographers, Clerks and Skilled Support Staff, at Central Potato Research Institute, Shimla (HP) and its
Regional Stations, under the administrative control of the Indian Council of Agricultural
Research, Krishi Bhawan, New Delhi. These posts are non-government but pensionable
under the ‘New Pension Scheme’ as formulated by the Government of India. Persons
appointed against these posts will be entitled for HRA and other benefits as per Govt. of
India Rules.
The written examination of the candidates will be conducted. The syllabus for the said
examination and other details will be intimated to the candidates in the call letters. No
weightage will be given for additional qualifications.The candidate applying for the post(s) is
required to deposit application processing fee in shape of D.D. amounting to Rs. 200/-
(Rupees two hundred) only in favour ICAR-Unit – CPRI, Shimla(HP), in absence of which,
the application will not be entertained. However, candidates belonging to SC, ST and
women are exempted from said application processing fee.
